About Us

Our Story

Morisette Automotive has been proudly serving the Metro Detroit area since November 1987, when it was founded by Chris Morisette with a commitment to honesty, integrity, and exceptional service. When Jason Kozak took over the business, he brought with him a wealth of experience and a continued dedication to treating customers like family. As a family-owned and operated business, we’ve maintained the same values and commitment to transparency that have made us a trusted name in auto repair.

A Legacy in Auto Repair

Jason Kozak grew up in the auto repair industry, watching his father run successful shops throughout the Detroit area. As a child, he loved spending time at his dad’s garage, learning the ropes and developing a passion for cars. By his teenage years, Jason was performing basic repairs and maintenance. In his early 20s, he transitioned to the office side of the business, working with customers and eventually managing his father’s shops. When Jason took the reins of Morisette Automotive, his mission was to continue growing the business and build the Morisette Automotive brand while maintaining its reputation for quality and integrity.

What Sets Us Apart

At Morisette Automotive, we go above and beyond what most auto repair shops offer. From free loaner vehicles and complimentary towing services to 0% financing options, we’re here to make car care as stress-free as possible. Our team also provides digital vehicle inspections to give you a clear, transparent view of your car’s needs. We stand behind our work with a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty on most repairs.

Our Team of Experts

Each of our three locations is led by a dedicated manager and staffed with highly skilled technicians. With 12 state-certified mechanics, including master mechanics at every shop who bring over 30 years of experience, you can trust that your vehicle is in the hands of experts.

Family, Community, and the Outdoors

Jason and his wife, Stephanie, have been married for nearly 18 years and are raising six children on their 30-acre property northeast of Detroit. Their family stays busy with sports, school, and church activities, and they love spending time outdoors—riding ATVs, swimming, fishing, and tending to their new fruit orchard. Whether at work or home, family and community remain at the heart of everything they do.
